Now that the latest government Covid guidelines have been fully interpreted by the Angling Trust, KAPS venues will available to members for full fishing with effect from 7 a.m. on Monday 29th March.

This is the recommendation of the Angling Trust but we should all be aware that things may change at short notice if it is decided that the published Covid “road-map” needs adjustment.

Each venue that will open will be subject to the restrictions that have not been lifted by the latest government guidelines:

  • There will be no guest tickets and only members should enter the fisheries.
  • Site toilets will not be available until such time as the restrictions do not require the level of maintenance that is currently necessary.
  • Members must observe all current government restrictions including social distancing.

All river venues will be closed during the normal national close season of 15th March – 15th June inclusive.

Additionally, Boughton Monchelsea will be closed as normal from 15th March – 15th June as required by our arrangements with the riparian owners.

Hoo Stock Pond will be closed as normal from 1st April – 31st May as required by the national regulations because of its status as a RAMSAR site.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP FOR THE 2020/21 EXPIRES AT MIDNIGHT ON 30TH MARCH 2021. ONLY MEMBERS WHO HAVE RENEWED THEIR MEMBERSHIP FOR THE 2021/22 SEASON AND ARE IN POSSESSION OF THEIR NEW, YELLOW, MEMBERSHIP CARDS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE VENUES AFTER THIS TIME.

IF YOU INTEND TO FISH PADDLESWORTH ON 29TH MARCH, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE THE CHANGE OF LOCKS AT 7A.M. PADDLESWORTH ROAD IS VERY NARROW AND WE DO NOT WANT MEMBERS TO BLOCK THE ROAD.
