The annual Paddlesworth work party took place over the weekend of 18th/19th/20th May. It was again expertly organised by Colin Luscombe and it was pleasing to see a record number of members turning out throughout the weekend to work on making improvements around the complex. New swims were cut, existing swims improved, trees were pruned, paths were upgraded, and even a bench was built.
Those that stayed also enjoyed a BBQ (again organised by Colin) – there was even a report of salad being enjoyed by some members.
The work which was completed far outweighed Colin’s expectations and it was great to see so many members giving up their time to improve the facilities for everyone to enjoy.
